How to check graphics, RAM and other specification in windows 10

Many people aren’t aware of the many specifications that exist on their computer like graphics, RAM etc. They don’t know how to check these specifications and at some point of time they need those details. Well, this article will be helpful for them to find out the specifications on Windows 10.

About RAM installed on your PC – How to find it?

In order to find how much RAM is actually installed on your PC follow the steps given below

· Right Click- Start button

· Select- System

· It will display the details of your Operating system including the details of RAM.

How to find out about the graphics card on your PC?

· Open- Control Panel

· Look for – Device Manager

· Open- Display Adapters from the list

This will display the details about which graphics card is your PC/Laptop is using. If you want to know about the number of cores the CPU comprise of then expand the Processors from the same list below.

Basic information about your system can be discovered using Settings App

1. Open – Settings

2. Then Click- System

3. Click- About

The Settings page will display the details like

1. Windows 10 exact version

2. Build number

3. Processor details

4. System type

5. Memory installed

You can also find out the above information through Control Panel and then clicking System.

There is yet another method to know about the system information that is using command prompt which you may or may not find feasible like the above methods.

The build number increases every time there is a new feature added or a new update arrives for example Windows 10 Anniversary update. So make sure you when you check for the specs you check for the new updates and features from Windows 10.
